Crews used a crane to lift sections of Brian Muellerâs modular home from a trailer to sit on its foundation on Tuesday, at his new home on Woodchuck Place in Fairway Pines. Mueller is concerned about reactions from property owners who protested modular home construction in the neighborhood, claiming the construction method would lower property values. In face of rising costs, labor shortages, modular homes offer popular alternative
Modular homes, which have components built off-site in factories, are becoming more popular in Colorado as home-building prices and material costs have climbed and labor shortages have affected the construction industry.
