Ridgway, landowner battle over property
This photo taken in February 2023 shows a “no trespassing” sign installed at David Sneed’s private property, located at 539 Marion Overlook. The property neighbors the Ridgway Secondary School on the north, and students were using a shortcut through the parcel before Sneed installed a fence. The town of Ridgway is attempting to obtain an easement for a path through the property using condemnation proceedings. Erin McIntyre — Ouray County Plaindealer
