Childcare provider Estrella Piatt plays with her 18-month-old daughter, Laila, at their new home in Ouray, which was built as part of the Waterview Homes project to include a licensed, home-based child care business. Piatt, who operates Tiny Colorado Treasures Childcare, is one of two child care providers who were selected for the affordable housing development. The goal of the project was to solve two problems with one project – building affordable housing and creating more child care availability for the workforce in Ouray County.
