Dear Editor: I would like to thank the Plaindealer for your well-researched article on law enforcement intergovernmental agreements in Colorado. To make it clear, I am not a resident of Ouray, but I do live in Ouray County. I would not presume to know what is best for Ouray. The city and its residents should make the choice that best reflects their interests and values. But I would encourage everyone to keep an open mind about all options, including contracting with the Ouray County Sheriff's Office.
