Residents of the Swiss Village Mobile Home Park, shown here in June, asked the Ouray City Council this week for help in purchasing the park from the current owners, Ross and Arlene Crawford. The residents formed a cooperative this summer after the park went up for sale and in an attempt to buy and preserve Swiss Village, but the two sides have been unable to agree on a price, increasing the chance that someone else could purchase the property and redevelop it.
