Why moos the cow?

Dear Editor:

Why moos the cow? For joy? For terror? To cast their vote for Ridgway Cow Mayor? Perhaps a moo of yearning for a long lost love, or a moo of sorrow for a pasture gobbled up by another art gallery project.

I know not why the cow moos, (perhaps the rancher does), but I know that Ouray County cheeseburgers are delicious.
