Dear Editor: One of the things I love about working in local government at the municipal level is that we're completely non-partisan. The divisive politics found elsewhere in our government rarely rears its ugly head. Each day we spend working for the people, we do so without the anchor of an “R” or “D” next to our names. We come from different backgrounds, have differing governing philosophies, but are all committed to working together to move our communities forward.
