The contest to design Ouray’s Centennial Flag was being sponsored by the Committee for the Walsh Library Building (City Hall facade) Restoration, as a Centennial-Bicentennial project. Everyone was welcome and urged to enter the contest to design a flag commemorating Ouray’s first 100 years. The committee hoped for a lot of enthusiasm and a lot of entries. Anyone, anywhere
