A year after brain tumor surgery, thanks to community

Dear Editor: One year ago, on a Tuesday — Sept. 19 of last year — I faced the life-changing experience of brain tumor surgery. The tumor was massive and, thankfully, it was benign. As I look back on this journey, my heart overflows with gratitude for the incredible support I’ve received from this wonderful community.
