April 4, 1974 - In Ridgway’s regular town election held April 2, 55 people voted to rescind the existing ordinance which prohibits mobile homes to be parked within the town limits except in a licensed trailer park. Sixteen votes were cast to uphold the existing ordinance. Mobile homes will now be allowed to be parked within the limits of the town as long as they meet Colorado Building Code specifications.
