Thanks to neighbor, marshal for watching over house
Dear Editor: Last month I was on a rare vacation in Boston. My house sitter went on an errand and one of my dogs snuck out the back door into the fenced yard and was barking for an hour. My fine neighbor and paramedic, Ruth Stewart, said she knew I never left the dog out if barking, and came over to check, but no one was home. She called the marshal and they did a wellness check on my house and Ruth called me and reached me in Boston. I am ever grateful to Ruth and the marshal for their attention and want to thank them publicly here in the paper.
