New owners of Beaumont Hotel clueless about small towns

Dear Editor: I am appalled at the behavior of the new owners of the Beaumont Hotel in choosing not to renew the long-term lease for the Ouray Bookshop. When I first heard about this, I went home and cried for an hour. Among other losses, where will visitors and residents be able to acquire all the wonderful books about the history and local culture of Ouray?
