Dear Editor: I know many people are missing packages and mail (including me) but I have seen some very poor behavior toward our friends and neighbors who are trying their level best to get the gigantic volume of packages and mail where it needs to be. The post office is being barraged by packages that are supposed to be delivered by FedEx and UPS yet somehow it becomes the post office's fault that things aren't arriving on time. The issue has served as a reminder to me that we have many, many terrific local merchants who are ready to supply a bunch of the items we are all ordering online — and we can pick them up today!
