This year’s Ouray County Rodeo is on Labor Day, and it begins with a parade down Sherman Street in Ridgway at 10 a.m. The gates open at 11 a.m. for attendees at the Ouray County Fairgrounds, and the rodeo starts at noon. This year’s event includes the Shining P Mini Broncs, which allows participants from ages 4 to 18 to compete, as well as mutton using for participants up to age 8, weighing less than 55 pounds.
