An article on Page 1 in the Aug. 10-16 edition about the sale of the Beaumont Hotel in Ouray misspelled the first name of one of the previous owners, Wayland Phillips. Also, her granddaughter, Sophia Arjana, said Phillips did not allow the hotel roof to collapse out of spite. Phillips was unable to clear the roof of heavy snow before it collapsed, then spent significant funds to build a new roof, according to Arjana.
