Two Western Slope residents have filed lawsuits against Taco del GNAR in Ridgway, alleging they contracted a parasite from eating contaminated food from the restaurant in the last two months.

Walter Wilson of Grand Junction and Patricia Pitts of Ridgway filed complaints in Ouray County District Court within the last week seeking unspecified damages in connection with an outbreak of Cyclospora, a parasite that causes foodborne illness.
