Lawsuit filed in outbreak
A Grand Junction man has filed a lawsuit seeking damages from Taco Del GNAR, alleging he contracted a parasite from eating a salad with ahi tuna on May 17.
The man, Walter Wilson, didn’t have symptoms until May 28, according to the complaint filed in district court on Thursday. Wilson is one of more than 58 cases tied to the restaurant and more than 84 cases identified across Colorado in the outbreak.
