Dear Editor:

I was recently honored, humbled and overwhelmed to receive an outpouring of deep sentiments, thoughtful gifts and heartfelt well-wishes for down-the-road at a retirement celebration on Friday, June 2, 2023, at the Ouray gym. We commonly say that it takes a village to raise a child; I am so grateful to say thank you many times over to the Ouray community for raising this child.
