Ridgway council moves toward lodging tax hike
Ridgway voters could see a ballot question in November asking them to raise the town’s lodging tax to 6% in order to generate money for affordable housing efforts.
In their fourth discussion this year on the subject, Ridgway town councilors informally agreed to pursue the increase, though they were split on how the revenue should be allocated.
