Ouray’s Roman Sackman lands in the triple-jump competition at the track meet in Mancos on Tuesday. This was Sackman’s first high school jump competition and he placed fourth, jumping more than 37 feet. The boys’ team also landed first-place awards in the 200-meter dash and 100-meter dash (both by Caleb Crandall) and in the 4×800 relay race (with Keaton Nelson, Brighton Reinert, Josh Densow-Pope and Catcher Latta).
