The Home Trust of Ouray County is now the owner of a six-unit apartment building in Ouray, marking the first official affordable housing preservation in the county. It also marks the first community land trust in Colorado to manage rental properties.

The Home Trust closed on the building at 734 Fourth St. on March 30, buying the property for $1.25 million from Arthur and Virginia Ficco.
