Man dies in snow plowing accident

A Ouray County man died last week when he fell off a skid steer as he plowed snow off a neighbor’s driveway, according to Ouray County Coroner Glenn Boyd.

Jim Olson, 66, was pronounced dead at the scene after county paramedics were called to 189 Red Stone Road just after noon on April 26.

An autopsy will determine the cause of his death.
