Ouray County Administrator Connie Hunt presented two options to county commissioners last week to increase administrative staffing, following an evaluation last month when the board said her workload had become unsustainable.

Hunt offered two potential solutions: hiring a chief financial officer or a deputy county administrator. Either position would report directly to her, and would have a starting salary above $100,000.
