Dear Editor: With respect to the current dialogue regarding selling/ serving alcohol at the Ouray Hot Springs Pool, I strongly object for the following reasons:

• Pool is a natural gift, resource, asset and attraction for all to enjoy. It’s natural beauty and serenity certainly don’t need alcohol, or any drug, to fully appreciate the experience.

• Many, families especially, will find that swimming with the intoxicated to be offensive.
