April 19, 1973 – Monday of this week, Chief Miller and his deputy borrowed radar equipment from the Montrose Police Department and conducted a survey on Main Street. In the space of approximately 40 minutes, they contacted 26 vehicles for speeding and issued warning tickets. The vehicles so contacted were traveling from 34 to 48 miles per hour on Main Street which is designated as a 25 mph zone.
