I sat through five hours of a public hearing for the Cannaboo commercial cultivation facility license request. The license was approved for a location on Sage Road on Log Hill Mesa. There were many residents present to protest the license approval and, when they had made their case, Commissioner Niece wrongly characterized their opposition as being based solely on the fact that this was a marijuana grow operation.
