Forrest Bault was recently hired as the first director of the Ridgway Railroad Museum. Unlike many of the volunteers, the 40-year-old is not a lifetime train enthusiast, but he's mechnically inclined and has volunteered at the museum for the last 10 years. Museum director seeks to keep railroad legacy on track
With plans for expansion and funding secure, the Ridgway Railroad Museum has hired a director for the first time. At 40 years old, Forrest Bault is bringing new, youthful energy to a museum which has always been run by a group of volunteers from an older generation. He is eager to fulfill the vision set forth by those volunteers, particularly Karl Schaeffer and Chris Weiser, two visionaries and major funders of the museum.
