Dear Editor:

Because Ouray’s industry is tourism, it means it’s a place people want to come, not just to visit but to live. It allows us to have excellent restaurants, interesting shops, a superb museum, an amazing number of nonprofits doing wonderful work and, for the most part, an intelligent, well-educated population.

Our kids take extensive educational trips, we attract performers and artists that are the envy of larger communities, and we have incredible parks and community facilities. Mo...
