The town of Ridgway will continue its moratorium on most new development applications for another four months to allow time to complete revisions to its planning and zoning code.

The moratorium took effect Aug. 10 and was set to expire March 31. Councilors voted 5-0 last week to adopt a new emergency ordinance keeping it in place until July 31.
