Don’t be alarmed – Ouray County will be testing its new alert system for the first time on Wednesday evening. Anyone signed up for Ouray County Alerts should receive the alert around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday. Recipients can help with the test by following the instructions they receive and confirming they received the messages.
