Ouray County commissioners gave County Administrator Connie Hunt high marks across the board on her annual evaluation, but raised concerns about interpersonal relations, a culture of fear in the county workforce and the workload in Hunt’s position.

At a work session lasting more than two hours last week, they said the responsibilities of the position have outgrown what one person can handle. They asked her to work toward separating the roles of administration and finance in 2023.
