Spotlight on the Arts: Lu Anne Tyrrell
Lu Anne Tyrrell’s mother used to say the Montrose-based photographer must have been born with crayons in her hands.
“I have always been either drawing, sketching, (doing) photography, painting,” she said.
Tyrrell was born and raised in Colorado on the Front Range, and she studied commercial art at Northern Arizona University before moving to the Pacific Northwest and, ultimately, back to her home state.
