The east side of the three-story Space to Create building in Ridgway is a big white wall, and about 15 mem-bers of the community met on Feb. 8 to discuss turning the space into a public art installation such as a mural.

While participants threw out ideas ranging from historic art to rotating murals to hanging gardens, no decisions were made at the meeting, and some participants urged leaders to think carefully about the community the art will represent.
