January 25, 1973 – Several important resolutions were made by the Ouray County Cattlemen’s Association at its annual meeting Jan. 9. The first was to oppose the William Wright request to change use and point of diversion of water from the Dallas Creek and upper Uncompahgre River drainage to the Log Hill area. The second resolution opposes the grazing fee increase on Forest Service and Bureau of Land Management lands.
