Armed with a glowing job performance review from his bosses on the Ouray City Council, City Administrator Silas Clarke will be rewarded with a hefty pay raise in 2023.

City councilors on Monday unanimously agreed to amend Clarke’s employment contract and increase his annual salary to $159,445 starting Jan. 1. That’s a 13% increase from his current salary of $141,333 and 44% more than he made when he started his job in December 2020.
