Like Ouray’s residents, Ice Park needs to pay for its water
Dear Editor: I (along with many residents of Ouray) am concerned that the Ice Park does not pay for the water that they use. My investigation revealed that the water comes from the Weehawken Spring through the city pipeline to the city reservoir tanks; thereafter, the supply is split; one pipe feeds water to the city chlorinator, our drinking water; the other pipe feeds the Ice Park which, I was told, is overflow.
