Town pursues water treatment changes
Ridgway is continuing to pursue plans to change how it treats its drinking water, despite cost increases and uncertainty about the potential new system.
The town’s proposed budget for 2023 includes $400,000 for the design and implementation of a granular activated carbon (GAC) system, and another $32,000 for engineering, most of which will come from grant money and federal funds.
