Water plant to break ground next spring
Ouray city officials plan to break ground next spring on a new water treatment plant and are now looking for a contractor to tackle the project.
City councilors on Monday unanimously approved on second reading an ordinance accepting a state loan of up to $12.1 million for the new plant. The city has received a pair of grants totaling $5.75 million to help offset that cost.
