After a glorious October, winter lurks
Ouray’s near perfect summer weather has extended its warm, sometimes wet reach into a glorious autumn.
It helped that September 2022 was dry, sunny (15 days’ worth!) and warm with just 1.06 inches of precipitation (normal is 2.04). Both day and night temps hovered near four and a half degrees above normal. Days averaged a remarkable 75 degrees (normal is 70.5), while nights averaged 49.3 degrees (normal is 44.9).
