Ouray business owners and entrepreneurs can apply for funding through a new city grant program aimed at providing a financial boost to small businesses with “shovel-ready” projects.

The city’s Community Economic Development Committee is accepting applications through Friday, Sept. 30, for funding totaling $11,000. The money is coming from three sources: $5,000 from the city’s general fund, $5,000 from the Ouray Chamber Resort Association and $1,000 from Citizens State Bank.
