As Ouray County officials begin crafting a budget for 2023, department heads are looking for seven new full-time positions, which would cost more than $360,000 to hire.

Commissioners and staff took a first look at the proposed 2023 budget at a Sept. 21 workshop and will see a revised version in a regular meeting Oct. 4.
