John Delles, also known around town as “California John,” mistaken as “Dallas,” or affectionately self-labeled “Dull-ass,” passed away quickly this fall after living in Ouray County for the last 29 years. His gruff exterior belied his kind heart and most who knew him benefited from his helpful nature. He always had a creative solution to offer and believed in the best of people. His antics and humor were unique and will be missed by many. Please remember him for kind actions and pass it forward.
