Dear Editor, We would like to give a sincere thank you to Ouray County sheriff’s deputy Luis Perez for assisting us when our vehicle broke down Sunday, Aug. 7, on a curve on extremely busy Highway 550. In addition to that danger, it instantly became very hot for our two dogs, Nugget and Noodle, in the vehicle with us.
