Ridgway lodging tax allocation won’t change
Ridgway won’t ask voters this year to approve changes to how the town’s lodging tax revenue is spent, after the town council decided last week to table a decision until further discussion.
The town charges a 3.5% nightly tax on hotel rooms and short-term rentals, which is budgeted to generate about $94,000 this year, according to Town Clerk Pam Kraft.
