An engineer has presented city officials with four options to boost flagging water temperatures in the Ouray Hot Springs Pool, all of which are estimated to cost hundreds of thousands of dollars.

City leaders contacted Durango-based ME&E Engineering in February and asked for the company’s help in identifying potential ways to mechanically heat the pool. ME&E Engineering representatives then toured the pool in March.
