Ridgway voters may be asked this fall if they want to earmark a portion of lodging tax revenue for affordable housing projects.

The town council agreed at its July 13 meeting to notify the county clerk of a possible ballot question for this November’s election, but didn’t commit to any details on the potential funds allocation.

In order to proceed with a ballot question for voters to consider this fall, the town would need to finalize the question in August.
