Potential water rate hike delayed again
A proposed Dallas Creek Water Company rate hike that has drawn abundant criticism and opposition has been delayed again, this time until at least early next year.
Administrative Law Judge G. Harris Adams on Monday suspended the effective date of Dallas Creek’s proposed rate hike until Feb. 6, ruling in an order that the Colorado Public Utilities Commission won’t have time to consider the matter before Sept. 29, the current date until which the rate hike has been delayed.
