July 20, 1972 – Wednesday afternoon about three o’clock, a truck tire tried to enter the Mary Lawrence home by the window. It broke the window, and although it didn’t enter the room, a great amount of damage was created from breakage of antique glass objects just inside the window, and the antique cherrywood window frame which, with the blowed glass bay window, was as old as the house, was broken in places.
