Doors to Western Hotel could reopen this summer
Major renovations to The Western Hotel and Spa in Ouray are nearly complete, with new owner Zeppelin Development planning for a late summer opening.
The Denver-based group bought the historic property, built in 1891, early last year for $1.35 million and launched a restoration effort that is now in its final stages.
The ultimate goal, said Adam Larkey, Zeppelin’s director of sales and leasing, is to do right by the old hotel and the community it sits in.
