Ballot measure should be narrowly defined

The obvious simple solution to the Ouray County Sheriff’s Office’s long response times across the county and lack of back-up is funding not one but two deputies per day-time shift. Four additional deputies to accomplish that would require under $400,000 annually, after refining an original cost estimate to include workers’ compensation insurance and provide 10% growth.
